摘要: Abstract Several expressions have been used to estimate global solar radiation from sunshine hours for weather stations in Oman, an arid region. These included original (linear) and modified (linear–logarithmic) Angstrom–Black type regression functions, a quadratic function, power relationship, power–trigonometric equation one new logarithmic model. For the model, altitude of station was as additional information estimating radiation. All models performed well estimators solar-radiation but non-linear were better than basic linear The model estimated values best. linear–logarithmic are preferred when only relative is used.
