摘要: Fishers often describe fishing as a religion. If religion is defined meaning making, then makes through their connection with the aquatic environment, ritual and sometimes difficult work of catching fish relationship itself. In contrast, recreational fishers enjoy being in outdoors delight challenge taking home for dinner; fly treat sport passion bordering on divine reverence; while commercial relish ocean intricate skills that go negotiating catch midst uncertainty –the weather, ocean's power, risks they take, ability to locate increasing vulnerability industry. This paper explores social spiritual dimensions fishing, leisure activity profession asks question: What happens soul fisher particularly, capital, an era declining fisheries resources? The answer, part, found spirit resilience.
