摘要: AbstractEffective ecosystem management in the face of human alterations depends on our ability to quantify ecologically significant changes and discriminate among impact levels types. We reviewed literature biological responses freshwater biota disturbances over last century. Many main methods for assessing ecological integrity originated Europe [e.g., Saprobien Index, Trent Biotic Biological Monitoring Working Party, River InVertebrate Prediction And Classification System, multiple traits] or North America Index Integrity, leaf-litter breakdown, functional feeding groups]. used bibliometric data detail contribution J-NABS developments assessment integrity. A total 225 bioassessment articles were published from 1986 2007. This was ∼½ number same period Freshwater Biology (FWB; another leading journal comparison)...
