摘要: Abstract The as-cast AZ80 magnesium alloy was processed through the expansion equal channel angular extrusion (Exp-ECAE) operation. process conducted with various test conditions by varying temperature, ram velocity and number of passes. Then, mechanical microstructural characteristics product were investigated. grain size reduced 64% in component at 225 °C a 6 mm/min, while UTS, microhardness elongation showed, respectively, 2, 1.6 1.8 times improvements compared billet. possibility deforming Mg temperatures below 200 °C also examined. Finally, Exp-ECAE technique succeeded processing this 180 °C without applying any external back-pressure. Processing under such condition resulted 2.4 improvement strength, comparison
