摘要: We studied the impact of fine-needle aspiration biopsy on management patients with solitary thyroid nodules. Sixty-four were examined before introduction biopsy, and 147 after its introduction. The percentage who underwent operation decreased from 67 percent to 43 percent, while yield carcinoma increased 14 29 percent. Cost medical care per patient declined by 25 results suggest that provides valuable information assist in selection for surgery Fine-needle appears be safe, reliable, cost-effective. merits technique commend it routine use evaluation
