摘要: Conflict between carnivores and livestock farmers affects human livelihoods predator populations. Historically, successful mitigation of this conflict has been limited, sometimes because a lack participation among stakeholders to create implement agreeable effective solutions. Finding common ground can, however, be difficult, partly the range intensity values held. Using novel combination Q-methodology Delphi technique, I investigated whether diverse could agree on how mitigate in Namibia. A strong consensus was reached using conservation education husbandry training reduce depredation. Two narratives emerged: one group preferred non-lethal methods manage conflict, whereas smaller lethal measures. This new decision-making exercise potential applied other conflicts assist with participatory decision making.
