摘要: The terms ‘rain forest’ and ‘tropical moist are often used as synonyms; although neither has a standard definition, the latter is more inclusive than former. Schimper first term rain forest in 1903 (Schimper, 1903) defined it that “evergreen, hygrophilous character, at least 30m high, rich thick-stemmed lianas woody well herbaceous epiphytes”. Sixty or so years later, Baur (1964) extended this definition somewhat to “a closed community of essentially but not exclusively broadleaved evergreen trees, usually with two layers trees shrubs dependent synusiae life forms such vines epiphytes. It includes characteristic vegetation humid tropics, even when seasonal climatic regime, those elevated areas tropics”.
