摘要: A new model for describing the surface tension of binary liquid mixtures as a function bulk composition over whole concentration range is presented. We first derive an equation relating and volume fractions that generalizes Langmuir isotherm so to cover entire concentrations. By combining this with mixing rule nonideal solutions, we obtain two adjustable parameters, one measuring lyophobicity component other accounting effect molecular interactions. The provides excellent description data wide variety solutions π0 = σA − σB values ranging from 2.2 51.0 mN/m.
