摘要: Background: Dental implants with moderately rough surfaces are commonly used in the treatment of edentulous patients. However, long-term data on survival rates and marginal bone conditions lacking. Purpose: This prospective study evaluated cumulative rate TiOblast™ implant (Astra Tech AB, Molndal, Sweden) after 10 years prosthetic loading. Materials Methods: A total 199 were placed 36 consecutive patients (23 males 13 females). All treated at one clinic by same team. The either maxilla (n = 16) or mandible 20). average age start trial was 64 (range, 59–82 years). Of inserted 108 91 maxilla. Clinical evaluations undertaken completion superstructure (baseline) 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 7 years. Mean level for first 100 up to years. Results: Six failed during (3 maxilla). failures occurred within giving a 96.9% (96.6 % 97.2 mandible) follow-up. superstructures 100%. mean measured sample 0.2 mm (standard deviation [SD], 0.31) below reference point baseline, 0.28 (SD, 0.20) 1.27 1.15) later (mean, 0.15 per year). Conclusion: showed that titanium dioxide-blasted offer predictable results as supports fixed prostheses both mandible.
