摘要: Highly variable regions of DNA are found in a wide diversity organisms and typically composed alleles consisting number tandem repeats (VNTRs) short core sequence. fingerprinting probes VNTR that simultaneously detect large similar VNTRs the target DNA. The highly polymorphic pattern observed fingerprint allows resolution questions concerning individual identification. M13 phage was used to captive chimpanzees for paternity ascertainment. Although probability band sharing among chimps appears be higher than some other reported feral animal populations, probe is useful can expected become more widely genetic management populations.
