摘要: Physalis angulata, having familiar name in Indonesia as “Ceplukan”, is wellknown empirically folk medicineto treat several diseases such hepatitis, malaria, boil, liver problem, diuretic etc. Clinically researchershave revealed the activity of angulata extract anticancer, antitumor, antimycobacterial, immunosuppresion So far, common method to obtain by hot waterextraction (HWE) and maceration using organic solvent methanol or ethanol. Meanwhile, strickerregulation residue pharmaceutical product encourages research replace organicsolvent environmentally benign solvent. The objective this investigate potential ofPhysalis leaves obtained Subcritical Water Extraction (SWE) antioxidantThe were extracted water subcritical condition. condition may havepolarity similar with solvent, so it can phytochemical plant material. Three variables wereinvestigated including pressure (100-200 bar), temperature (100-250oC) extraction time (15-45 min). Afterevaporating water, extracts analyzed for antioxidant activity, total phenol flavanoid usingspectrophotometer. content was karl fischer titrator. result thatpressure has negligible effect, while significant effect andflavanoid content. results also compared that conventional methods maceration(water ethanol), HWE soxhlet.
