摘要: Abstract This paper presents an original approach for the optimization of drinking water distribution networks. A multi-scale design point-to-points networks using Lagrangian function coupled with constructal is performed. Two tree-shaped (T- and Y-) are optimized compared by taking diameters pipes bifurcation angles in network as selected variables. The objective to minimize total head losses (factor energy consumption) subject overall residence time quality). Y-shaped structures found better than T-shaped structures.
