摘要: Ferromagnetic metallic implants and materials are regarded as contraindications for MR imaging because of the potential risks associated with their movement or displacement. To date, 14 published articles have evaluated ferromagnetic qualities 127 different other materials, including aneurysm hemostatic clips (32); dental (five); intravascular coils, filters, stents (13); ear (14); prosthetic heart valves (29); orthopedic (eight); penile (nine); miscellaneous (17). All these were by measuring deflection forces induced static magnetic fields at strengths ranging from 0.147 to 4.7 T. This article is a compilation results studies; it lists all tested, indicates whether they found be deflected fields, gives highest field strength which evaluated. Of 66 nonferromagnetic, 29 exhibited only minimal relative in vivo applications (i.e., thought insufficient move dislodge implant material situ). The authors studies concluded that patients particular (95/127, 75%) can examined safely scanners having up those used specific evaluations. Patients may also undergo safely; however, both careful consideration factors influence prudent clinical judgment required before who objects via imaging.
