摘要: In this letter, the long-term stabilization of monodisperse microbubbles produced by flow focusing is demonstrated using lipid encapsulation. Fluorescence microscopy, high-speed camera imaging, and particle size analysis were used to investigate roles phase behavior, dissolution, Ostwald ripening, coalescence in stability formed focusing. It was found that these behaviors controlled through compositional changes with respect lipid, emulsifier, viscosity agents. Microbubbles coated PEG emulsifier a viscous solution contain an extremely narrow distribution (diameterav = 51 μm, standard deviation 4 μm), which maintained for up several months.
