Cross-layered implementation of multilayered coded video streaming

摘要: Video streaming over wireless network is challenging because of its quality service (QOS) requirement. It needs to adapt with respect the available bandwidth connection which unpredictable in most occasions. In order maintain a continuous flow video without any disconnection or large buffering at receiver, new algorithm called Multi-Layered Coding Cross Layer Adaptation (MLC-CLA) proposed. The input coded different level stored sender constituting multilayer approach. MLC-CLA judicially selects one these layer based on feedback from receiver and stream them, thereby adapting changing environment network. simulated result shows better Peak-Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR) for given sample video.
