摘要: Abstract In the cat retractor bulbi (RB) muscle reflexively retracts eye ball into orbit. This reflex action is called nictitating membrane response which, together with contraction of orbicularis oculi muscle, constitutes blink reflex. The motoneuronal nucleus a small cell group located in lateral tegmentum caudal pons, just dorsal to superior olivary complex. identical accessory abducens and sends its fibers through nerve. Autoradiographical tracing results indicate that RB receives some from principal rostral spinal trigeminal nuclei red dorsally adoining tegmentum. same areas project intermediate facial subnucleus, containing motoneurons innervating muscle. It suggested projections take part anatomical framework for R1 component Two other brainstem i.e.: portion pontine ventrolateral tegmental field medullary media at level hypoglossal were also found subnucleus. These much stronger than those derived nucleus. Moreover, premotor area projects not only groups but area. both are involved R2 component. afferents especially oculomotor control structures reticular formation while pretectal and/or optic tract adjoining Because (by way colliculus) receive nuclei, they may play an important role tactually induced blinking, pretectum could neuronal visually
