摘要: The recognition of coeliac disease in Asian children is still an unusual occurrence. Our experience at Birmingham Children’s Hospital suggests that many patients with the disorder diagnosis being missed or made late. There are reasons for this, but amongst them unexpected clinical spectrum symptoms which seen when compared European patients. Clearly any analysis epidemiology gluten sensitive enteropathy community dependent on accurate diagnosis. We have therefore reviewed presentation and course from Indian subcontinent who attended this hospital over past ten years.
