摘要: A compact multiband printed monopole antenna is presented. The proposed antenna, composed of a modified broadband T-shaped integrating some band-notch structures in the metallic patch, excited by means microstrip line. To calculate bandwidth starting frequency (BSF) an improved formula and discussed. operation achieved etching three inverted U-shaped slots on radiant patch. By changing length notch slots, bands can be adjusted conveniently. simulated Ansoft HFSS then fabricated measured. measurement results show that operates at 2.25–2.7 GHz, 3.25–3.6 Hz, 4.95–6.2 GHz, 7-8 GHz, covering Bluetooth, WiMAX, WLAN, downlink X-band satellite communication system thus making it proper candidate for devices.
