All-optical noise suppression using two-stage highly-nonlinear fibre loop interferometers

摘要: Improved all-optical noise suppression capability is demonstrated using concatenated nonlinear optical loop interferometers with highly-nonlinear dispersion-shifted fibre. Reshaping characteristics are significantly improved by the use of a two-stage configuration and ~6 dB obtained.
