摘要: The ethical issues raised by aquaculture were analyzed. A modification of the Ethical Matrix Food Ethics Council for evaluation novel foods was used; changed in order to include various production stages separately. following distinguished: breeding stage, growth/feeding “other-handling” stage (that includes disease and treatment, transportation organisms, killing procedure, DNA vaccinations), commercialization stage. concerning producers, consumers, environment, aquacultured are discussed. This scheme fitted intensive cage-culture carnivorous fish. differences with other forms discussed, how extrapolates them. aquaculture, practice, will be rather a utilitarian balancing cost benefits respective actions. desired characteristics an have been also outlined. should not limited purely scientific analysis; it holistic, comparable available alternatives, flexibility incorporate new data generated fast growing/continuous changing sector.
