摘要: DNA replication is central to cell proliferation. Studies in the past six decades since proposal of a semiconservative mode have confirmed high degree conservation basic machinery from prokaryotes eukaryotes. However, need for substantially longer segment coordination with various internal and external signals eukaryotic cells has led more complex versatile regulatory strategies. The program higher eukaryotes under dynamic plastic regulation within single cell, or population, during development. We review here mechanisms that control discuss future directions this field.
