摘要: This work reports the preparation of a new thermoluminescent (TL) material obtained by doping host salt lithium borate with copper, silver and thulium ions (Li2B4O7:Cu, Ag, Tm). With material, sintered dosimeters in form discs were made exposed to gamma radiation from 60Co source. It was found that these show sensitivity approximately 40% shown commercial dosimeter TLD-100 (LiF:Mg,Ti). The thermally stimulated luminescence prepared showed linear response dose for range 0.001 50 Gy. Its luminescent signal remains constant during 24 h after irradiation, exhibiting better behaviour than TLD-800 (Li2B4O7:Mn) which decreases up 60% its original same period. lower detection limit determined be equal 0.1 mGy TL measurements repeatability within 2.5%. kinetic parameters using several methods. variable heating rate method lowest energy value E main peak (peak 1). Initial rise shape methods intermediate values whereas deconvolution highest E, rates 1, 2, 6 10 K/s. Results morphology, crystallography, Raman spectroscopy photoluminescence are also reported. These results suggest this detector could promising use clinical dosimetry applications.
