摘要: Objective-The aim of this study was to investigate the healing effects Ag+- zeolite/gelatin nanocomposite on excisional wound in rat animal model. Design-Experimental Animals-Eighteen male Sprague-Dawly rats weighing 200-220g Procedure- fabricated by sol-gel method, and characterized scanning electron microscopy (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques. MTT assay antimicrobial activity evaluation were performed. Under general anesthesia, a full thickness measuring 1.5×1.5 cm created dorsal area each rat. The animals equally randomly divided into three groups 6 i.e. group I (0.9% sodium chloride), II (gelatin –treated) III (nanocomposite –treated). solutions formulation applied topically once daily for 14 days. Photograph taken days 0,3,6,9,12 post creation. determined planimetrically. At days, euthanized skin samples histopathologicl (H&E staining). Results- In work, we successfully prepared nanocomposite. showed due Ag ion-exchanging. results indicate is safe up 0.1 mg/ml Nanocomposite treated exhibited enchantment closure accelerate time (p<0.05). Furthermore, higher neovascularization collagen content faster regrowth epidermis repair compared other groups. Conclusion clinical relevance- conclusion, biocompatible might have great application open healing.
