Cytokines and acute phase serum proteins as markers of inflammatory regression during the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis

摘要: OBJETIVO: Analisar o padrao de citocinas pro- e antiinflamatorias da resposta fase aguda (RFA) como marcadores ao tratamento tuberculose pulmonar. METODOS: Determinacao dos niveis interferon-gama (IFN-γ), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α, fator necrose tumoral-alfa), interleucina-10 (IL-10) transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β, transformador crescimento-beta), pelo metodo ELISA, em sobrenadante cultura celulas mononucleares do sangue periferico monocitos, assim proteinas totais, albumina, globulinas, alfa-1-glicoproteina acida (AGA), proteina C reativa (PCR) velocidade hemossedimentacao (VHS) 28 doentes com pulmonar, tres tempos: antes (T0), aos meses (T3) seis (T6) tratamento, relacao controles saudaveis, um unico tempo. RESULTADOS: Os pacientes apresentaram valores maiores RFA que os T0, diminuicao T3 IL-10, TGF-β, AGA VHS) ou normalizacao (IFN-γ PCR) T6. CONCLUSOES: PCR, VHS sao possiveis para auxiliar no diagnostico pulmonar na indicacao individuos baciloscopia negativa; PCR (T0 > T6 = referencia) pode tambem ser marcador tratamento. Antes perfil Th0 (IFN-γ, TNF-α TGF-β), indutor protetor contra inflamacao, prevaleceu nos pacientes; T6, Th2 (IL-10, efeito nocivo pro-inflamatorio ainda presente. O comportamento IFN-γ controle) sugere sua utilizacao
