摘要: The complete 1473-bp sequence of the 16S rRNA gene from archaebacterium Halobacterium halobium has been determined. Alignment with sequences archaebacteria volcanii and Halococcus morrhua reveals similar degrees homology, about 88%. Differences in primary structures H. eubacterial (Escherichia coli) or eukaryotic (Dictyostelium discoideum) 18S are much higher, corresponding to 63% 56% respectively. A comparison nucleotide those its archaebacterial counterparts generally confirms a secondary structure model RNA contained small subunit ribosome.
