摘要: Abstract To study the mechanism of particle deposition in crossflow filtration, hydrodynamic forces exerted on a spherical touching surface filter medium are analyzed to derive critical selective cut-diameter deposited particles under various velocities and filtration rates system. Experimental data turbulent dilute light calcium carbonate suspension agree with prediction this theory within 30% error velocity from 0.57 1.14 m/s. Equations estimate characteristics such as steady-state rate average specific resistance cake, also presented.
