摘要: Patients with stage IV melanoma have usually been treated systemic therapies; however, the overall survival for patients this approach is disappointing. A complete surgical resection of metastatic disease to sites offers best chance maximize survival. This review article will present data supporting position that if a metastasectomy technically feasible, then surgery should be strongly considered first option properly selected melanoma.
