摘要: Abstract : New contrast-specific imaging modalities such as harmonic (HI) may improve the accuracy of breast ultrasound. Unfortunately, HI suffers from reduced blood-to-tissue contrast resulting second generation and accumulation in tissue. As an alternative we propose using subharmonic (SHI) by transmitting at double resonance frequency (2fo) receiving (fo) . SHI has potential to detect slow, small volume blood flow associated with tumor neovascularity, making early detection identification tumors very likely. Hence, current project proposes increase ability ultrasound differentiate between benign malignant lesions combining injection agent SHI. To date, a dual-transducer pulse-echo system was built perform vitro measurements experiments were conducted Optison perfusion phantom realistic neovascular Velocities (2 mm/s). Up 12 dB signal components measured. It discovered that Logig 700 scanner targeted for implementation did not have appropriate hardware configuration running software. A completely new acquired GE (free charge) Three iterations software been developed initial testing commenced.
