摘要: When a society differentiates between women’s roles and men’s roles, one is hardly astonished to learn that men women speak about different things. Perhaps more surprising the observation differ in manner or form of their talk as well content talk. Yet, since days Jespersen (1922), linguists anthropologists have documented gender differentiation language variety cultures (Bodine, 1975).
