摘要: OBJECTIVE: to assess the quality of life chronic kidney patients undergoing hemodialysis, using WHOQOL-bref and WHOQOL-SRPB. METHOD: a descriptive cross-sectional study was undertaken at replacement therapy service in interior state SP. The 110subjects who complied with inclusion criteria answered Subject Characterization Instrument, RESULTS: most respondents were male (67.27%), mean age 55.65 years, Catholic (55.45%), unfinished primary education (33.64%) without formal occupation (79.08%). domains highest lowest score were, respectively, "psychological" (µ=74.20) "physical" (µ=61.14). WHOQOL-SRPB "completeness integration" (µ=4.00) "faith" (µ=4.40). CONCLUSIONS: showed high scores, specifically dimensions related spirituality, religion personal beliefs. Losses evidenced physical domain life, possibly due changes resulting from disease hemodialysis treatment.
