Relationship Between Defense Mechanisms and the Quality of Life in Women With Breast Cancer

摘要: Background: Patients with breast cancer often experience severe psychological distress after awareness of and during the course treatment, have lower physical quality in their life. Objectives: The aim this study is to investigate relationship between defense mechanisms patients various aspects Methods: present a correlational study. Participants were 96 women who referred hospitalized at Imam Khomeini hospital Tehran summer 2015 selected by convenience sampling. They completed general life questionnaires. Data analyzed using canonical correlation model. Results: Two significant functions identified data. First function showed that too much use displacement regression are accompanied low level physical, cognitive role aspects. Second reaction formation projection associated levels Conclusions: Paying attention factors used could help clinical therapists make very effective mental health interventions.
