摘要: The main logistical problems of the foot and mouth disease (FMD) outbreak that occurred in Netherlands 2001 were a lack culling rendering capacity. Suppressive vaccination formed basis for solution to both was primarily used halt possible spread virus. This allowed culls take place on vaccinated farms when sufficient capacity eventually became available. In addition, cloven-hoofed animals could be removed alive then killed central places fourteen or more days after vaccination.
