摘要: Abstract The potential cost benefit from integrating data and voice in a single network provides strong motivation for packetized transmission. In this study, simulation models are used to characterize the delay distribution of packets hop as well multi-hop environment. trade-off between number speakers that can be multiplexed using speech activity detection technique performance quantified. This is contrasted with obtained by lower bit-rate input without detection. Finally, procedure presented which guarantees any packet belonging call will not exceed given value throughout duration call, once set up. or
