摘要: In separate experiments cultures of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae ATTC 7752 were grown in presence [5‘,5‘-2H2]- or [2‘,2‘,5‘,5‘-2H4]-3-hydroxy-2,4,5-tri(hydroxymethyl)pyridine (i.e., 2‘-hydroxypyridoxol). The 2H NMR spectra samples pyridoxamine dihydrochloride and thiamin chloride hydrochloride that isolated from two showed deuterium at corresponding sites. Entry specifically 2H-labeled 2‘-hydroxypyridoxol into predicted sites pyrimidine unit provides first unequivocal evidence that, yeast, is an intermediate on route a C5-sugar vitamin B6, adds to pyridoxol serves as precursor thiamin, supplying C5N unit, C-2‘,2,N-1,C-6,5,5‘ intact unit.
