摘要: We report new calculations of the cross sections for deeply inelastic neutrino-nucleon scattering at neutrino energies between 10{sup 9}thinspeV and 21}thinspeV. compare with results in literature assess reliability our predictions. For completeness, we briefly review interactions atomic electrons, emphasizing role W-boson resonance {bar {nu}}{sub e}e neighborhood 6.3 PeV. Adopting model predictions extraterrestrial fluxes from active galactic nuclei, gamma-ray bursters, collapse topological defects, estimate event rates large-volume water {hacek C}erenkov detectors large-area ground arrays. {copyright} {ital 1998} The American Physical Society}
