Relations between auditory functions in normal hearing

摘要: The relations among a number of auditory functions were studied by concentrating on small interindividual differences in these functions. For this purpose battery 12 tests was applied to 50 normal‐hearing subjects. included absolute threshold, bandwidth measured with comb‐filtered noise direct and forward masking, psychophysical tuning curve both temporal integration intensity‐modulated noise, forward‐ backward‐masking curves, cubic‐difference‐tone strength, lateral suppression. In all cases the test frequency 1000 Hz. Among found, are (1) positive correlation between shift steep edge curve, away from probe frequency, width filter as (2), an inverse relation window, (3) strength cubic difference tone. Low correlations not caused poor reliability.
