摘要: There is a long tradition in hearing research of exploring the auditory system by means sinusoidal stimuli, usually called pure tones. Single tones are used to investigate just-noticeable differences frequency and sound-pressure level, absolute masked thresholds, equal-loudness contours etc. Combinations two or more have come be applied recent years order study pitch phenomena, ear’s frequency-resolving power, creation combination tones, effect lateral suppression, timbre perception, Without doubt, our knowledge mechanism has increased considerably these approaches.
