摘要: In order to investigate whether purinoceptors are involved in the physiological renewal and regeneration of epithelia, we used immunohistochemical techniques on fresh frozen sections various stratified squamous epithelial tissues (cornea, tongue, soft palate, oesophagus, vagina footpad) rat specific polyclonal antibodies unique peptide sequences P2X1-7 receptors. Only two antibodies, anti-P2X5 anti-P2X7, reacted with structures. P2X5 immunoreactivity was mainly associated membranes proliferating differentiating cell layers (spinous granular layer) both keratinised non-keratinised epithelia growing hair follicles. contrast, P2X7 clearly keratinisation process, staining being most intense upper exfoliated layers. These findings suggest, for first time, that receptors play an important role turnover continuously regenerating cells, further, raise possibility they represent novel targets development pharmacological tools potential benefit diseases dysfunction.
