摘要: Abstract The role of type β transforming growth factor (TGFβ) and epidermal (EGF) as regulators the differentiation cultured human neonatal cells squamous carcinoma was investigated in postconfluent cultures. Neither cell proliferation nor DNA synthesis affected by treatment with TGFβ alone; however, EGF significantly stimulated growth, this process specifically antagonized TGFβ. In addition, inhibited maturation foreskin-derived cells, measured their competence to synthesize involucrin form cornified envelopes, a dose-dependent manner. Although did not affect combination low concentration resulted significant enhancement these normal keratinocytes. Growth three four carcinomas presence all were either totally or partially resistant induction EGF. This resistance paralleled an increased sensitivity antikeratinizing effects Thus, inhibits mitogenic stimulation keratinocytes induces maturation.
