摘要: Abstract A numerical simulation of a basin type solar desalination still, improved by Natural Circulation Loop (NCL), is presented in this paper. transient thermal model was proposed for forecasting the still thermal-hydraulic behaviour under different operating conditions. The mathematical derived from energy balance equations components as well as, momentum equation humid air flowing system. main heat and mass transfer phenomena having place system are considered simulation. An extensive validation has been performed comparing results against experimental data obtained during four typical summer days. comparison shows reasonable agreement between data. showed that root mean square error ranged 2.7% to 26% coefficient determination close 1.0.
