摘要: The compaction caused by anthropic activities alters the soil physical properties, decreasing productivity and affecting environment. Many studies on this topic have been conducted in agricultural soils; however there is little information areas with native vegetation, where, usually, organic matter levels are higher. Thus, it essential to evaluate relationship between properties related under these conditions establish reference values for revegetation of grassland or riparian forests. objective was relate maximum bulk density (MaxBD), optimum water content (OWC) relative (DR) limits consistency, particle size carbon predominant soils Southern Plateau State Santa Catarina, Brazil, vegetation temperate climate. Samples A-Horizon were collected from two Oxisols (Rhodic Xanthic Kandiudox), Entisols (Lithic Udorthents Typic Udipsamments) Inceptisols (Pachic Humudepts). distribution, density, total content, liquid, plasticity (LP) stickiness, index, compaction, degree compactness evaluated. MaxBD increases higher sand fine decreases clay liquidity stickiness limits. OWC sandy soils, especially those a predominance sand, Atterberg 0.76 1.05 times plastic limit, directly silt indicating that moisture cannot be measured only determination limit soil. OWC/LP ratio at altitude Catarina different other places, as consequence high soils.
