摘要: Abstract This paper presents results from an extensive investigation into the modelling and experimental performance evaluation of a Laws’ relay actuator. Ideally, actuator is analyzed through solution partial differential equations that describe electro-magnetic interaction mechanical movement, this requires use information not normally provided in manufacture’s design data. The describes alternative much simplified approach, using combination analytical techniques, that, although including significant nonlinearities present actuator, avoids need for complex finite-element numerical solution. Measured demonstrate effectiveness model, which considerable value when designing control loop forms part.
