摘要: Certain sites within landscapes are likely to remain cooler and wetter than others as regional climates warm dry over the coming decades. These may function microrefugia for a wide range of vulnerable species habitats that will allow certain persist long term in regions undergoing marked shifts climate. While many sophisticated techniques have been developed identify where current future located, most wildland protected area managers do not tools or budget apply them field. Here, I discuss considerations, guidelines, by which can cost-effectively rapidly an initial set their particular ecosystems should be targeted protection restoration.
