摘要: Standardized patients (SPs) are frequently included in the clinical preparation of students health sciences. An acknowledged benefit using SPs is opportunity to provide a standardized method by which can demonstrate and develop their competency. Relatively little known, however, about capacity offer an accurate performance across speech-language therapy student cohort. To investigate accuracy, reproducibility (consistent each SP interviews) replicability number scenario) portraying three scenarios, as parent child presenting with speech disorder. Forty-four interviewed four gain case history. All interviews were videotaped. The accuracy portrayal key features scenario was scored expert rater two other raters. Data analysed determine levels replicability, inter-rater reliability evaluated. found have moderate high scenarios. There no significant differences performances individual or between all on scenario, indicating that achieved. Overall raters scenarios greater than 80%. results would seem indicate present manner within context, confirming value inclusion education programmes. Suggestions for improving training order maintain highlighted.
