摘要: Between the period of January 1994 and June 1995, results Autotransfusion Program Hospital do Aparelho Motor SARAH-BSB were evaluated. goals program are: 1. Minimise and, if possible, eliminate risks homologous transfusion; 2. Increase security, efficiency cost to benefits relation hemotherapic procedures; 3. demand blood products for those patients with difficult compatible be found. The has received 194 patients, among these, 100 have been selected this study because they had collection surgery concluded. average age was 34.3 years (11/72 years) median 30 mode 15 years. undergone elective orthopaedic operations. Autologous transfusions made by predeposit intraoperative salvage (Cell Saver). Six (6%) presented mild reactions associated blcod drawn. Additional needed 20 (20%) patients. Our experience demonstrates security transfusion in from childhood until elderly. It recommends creation expansion existing programs using autologous services surgery. We also consider that nursing care stimulates participation program.
