摘要: A randomized controlled experimental trial was performed in a rabbit model of surgical adhesions to investigate the anti-adhesive effects Hyaloglide®, highly viscous hyaluronan derivative absorbable gel after knee surgery. Twenty New Zealand white rabbits were prepared and randomly divided into two groups 10 animals each. An intra-articular fibro-adhesive scar created right joint hind paw each using standardized procedure, Hyaloglide® administered cavity at end intervention belonging treatment group. No applied control Additionally, immobilization Kirschner wire order increase risk adhesions. Six weeks surgery euthanized removal system, evaluated both macroscopically histologically. Results gross observations specific adhesion scoring system showed significant reduction (p < 0.01) incidence severity hyaluronan-treated group compared Histologically, treated thinner with less collagenic fibers. In conclusion, may be considered as promising barrier for prevention post-operative fibrotic
