摘要: Yersinia pseudotuberculosis localizes to the distal ileum, cecum, and proximal colon of gastrointestinal tract after oral infection. Using signature-tagged mutagenesis, we isolated 13 Y. mutants that failed survive in cecum mice orogastric inoculation. Twelve these were also attenuated for replication spleen intraperitoneal infection, whereas one strain, mutated gene encoding invasin, replicated as well wild-type bacteria spleen. Several mutations operons components type III secretion system, including involved translocating Yop proteins into host cells. This indicates or more Yops may be necessary survival tract. Three defective O-antigen biosynthesis; unable invade epithelial cells efficiently pseudotuberculosis. other genes had not previously been associated with growth a host, cls, ksgA, sufl. In addition, using strains marked signature tags, counted number different bacterial clones present mesenteric lymph nodes, 5 days postinfection. We find barriers animal limit succeed reaching and/or replicating nodes breaching gut mucosa.
