摘要: Mark-release-recapture experiments performed with natural populations of Drosophila at Mather, California show that flies tend to return their area original capture or an ecologically similar it. Such habitat choice explains the microgeographic genetic differentiation we observed in population. This behavioral difference between may have a component be environmentally induced. Either way, results help explain how high levels variation are maintained by selection these species.
