摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are well established as global gene regulators and thus, slight alterations in miRNA levels their ability to regulate targets may cause important cellular changes leading cancer risk. 3´ untranslated region (UTR) binding site single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) have added another layer of possible genetic variation involved the complex process oncogenesis. Identifying these key genetically inherited effectors functioning has improved our understanding complexity disease. Interest field grown rapidly only last 5 years, with several studies reporting on role 3´UTR SNPs markers increased susceptibility, biomarkers type, outcome response therapy. Currently, there numerous known associated multiple subtypes.
