摘要: Abstract Microporous carbon fibers (CFs) were in situ embedded chitosan‒polyvinyl alcohol (CHT-PVA) polymer matrix to produce an approximately 10 mm-thick carbon-polymer composite film (CHT-PVA/CF). The films prepared with different CF:(CHT-PVA) ratios of 0.5–3.0 (w/w) and used as novel adsorbents for the remediation bisphenol A (BPA) from water. composites characterized by SEM, TGA-DTG, FTIR XPS analysis. When CF was introduced into CHT-PVA, BPA removal performance increased 5.8% 97.6%. adsorption performances CHT-PVA/CF investigated respect solution pH, temperature time. optimal pH maximum found 6.0. Freundlich Dubinin–Raduskevich isotherm models fitted equilibrium data better than Langmuir model. According kinetics results, time 2 h kinetic well described pseudo-second-order equation. After saturated adsorption, can be easily regenerated reused within five cycles.
